Veterinary Technician (10/01/09)
We are seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Technician to join our small animal, 2 doctor practice. We are located in Warren, Pennsylvania, home of the Kinzua Dam and in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest. Modern equipment includes ultrasound, digital x-ray, and in-house laboratory. Position will be full-time with benefits package. Some on-call time is required. Vetstreet, a division of MediMedia and a leading animal health communications company that specializes in strategic communications between veterinary hospitals and their clients, is seeking Customer Support Specialists for their Yardley, PA, office.

The Customer Support Specialist duties include:

  • Providing routine and basic technical support to customers, both internal and external, via phone and e-mail. 
  • Developing and maintaining positive customer relations and coordinating various functions to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Researching and resolving customer concerns. 
  • Participating with technical support to troubleshoot high failure problems and to improve repair turnaround time.
  • Processing routine data transfers. 
  • Tracking client contact and managing tasks through CRM software. 
  • Updating CRM software with Solutions to enhance company knowledge base.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to the division's proprietary software

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1+ years' experience in a customer support role.
  • College degree and/or technical certifications preferred.
  • Computer skills, including use of the internet and email.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software desired.
  • Veterinary clinic experience a plus.

Position Work Hours:

  • Shift 1:  M-F 8:30am - 6:00pm
  • Shift 2:  M-F 11:30am - 8:00pm
